ETHICAL PROPERTY FOUNDATION
ANNUAL LONDON CHARITIES ONLINE ROUNDTABLE:
Renting from London Boroughs – Learning & Experience
Each year, the Ethical Property Foundation (EPF) hosts a short online roundtable discussion for London voluntary organisation, their funders and supporters to learn from each other. In recent years, we have considered the property issues affecting BME-led VCSEs and the role of tenancies-at-will in affecting the sector’s ability in London to plan long term.
EPF’s biggest case load in London is the relationship between the sector and local authority landlords. At present, London councils face huge challenges and do the voluntary sector who are often delivering contracts to help address them. How do we move forward positively in these challenging times?
Our roundtable is chaired by two EPF Trustees, Michael Fahy an experienced commercial property lawyer and Luke Thurlow a London based chartered surveyor.
This session will not be recorded. It will however be written up as a report for all our participants and conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
Please join us to learn and listen and share your experience.
The Ethical Property Foundation is the only dedicated property advice charity serving the UK voluntary sector. Half our clients are based in London, and we are most grateful to City Bridge Foundation for their support.
